Gizmo Update
Little Gizmo is still in ICU at MSU vet school. We are still here staying so we can be close. The Dallas family has been kind enough to let us stay in their apartment. So we have been reminiscing about the old college days. The vet school calls me twice a day to give us updates. His vitals, temp, and circulation is still good. He is still three times his size. The air has not gone down at all. He will be transferred from ICU to the surgeons tomorrow. They will decide if he needs surgery tomorrow. They said he is eating good and sleeping. I am so ready to get him back! Please continue to pray for him!

Pray for Gizmo!
Please keep little Gizmo in your prayers. I boarded him in Tupelo yesterday while Matt and I were going to close on our home in Jackson. I decided to have his teeth cleaned while he was there. They called around five p.m. and said we needed to get him to MSU vet school immediately his trachea was leaking air. We paid one of the tech's to drive him there and meet us to cut two hours out of his wait time. When we saw him he has so much air leaking that he is about three times his normal size. He is pitiful. However he is stable right now and his vitals are good. I should be getting a phone call any minute now from the vet. We will know if he needs surgery or if there is a chance it could repair on its own. They also found two masses on his lungs.
I am still in town. Matt and some of our precious friends are moving us right now to Jackson. Keep us in your prayers please!!

Yard Sale
Yard sales are great places to people-watch because they come to you. All you have to do is sit in your yard, or in our case the garage, and the most eclectic, colorful, and interesting species of people will come out of the woodwork for your viewing pleasure. It's similar too baiting deer or like going bird-watching, but rolling around in elmers glue and bird seeds before you go.
This weekend we opened our garage doors to the general public with an invitation to rummage through some of our discarded clutter. Surprisingly, Morgan's left-over wardrobe from her days as a staunch competitor in the International Science Fair sold very well. Other hot items included: "stripper shoes" sold to an 11 year old girl, a 25 year old microwave with cheese splatter included, and a really cool key-chain laser pointer.
We were blessed with quintessential yard selling weather and stayed busy continuously from 7am-Noon. All in all, we heard some very sad stories people used to bargain us out of 50 cents, met some of the interesting Saltillo locals, and made a good hunk of change.

We're going to Jackson!
Our little family is making our first move. We are headed to Jackson next weekend. Matt will be attending law school at MC and I am getting transferred with my company. We are excited what the future has in store, but sad to be leaving our jobs and friends here in Tupelo! We close on our townhome on Friday. Our first little home purchase. Gizmo will finally have a fenced in back yard to run around in! He will love it!
We started packing our things last night and are moving at a very slow pace. I HATE PACKING and MOVING!!
Keep us in your prayers during the many changes and challenges ahead of us!
